- 200g mozzarella cheese
- 100g cream cheese
- 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
- 4 tablespoons garlic butter
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Heat the garlic butter in a pan and sauté the mushrooms until tender. Set aside.
- Cut a pocket into each chicken breast without cutting all the way through.
- Stuff the chicken breasts with mozzarella, cream cheese, and sautéed mushrooms. Secure with toothpicks.
- Season the chicken with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and dried thyme.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and sear the chicken for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown.
- Transfer the chicken to a baking dish and bake for 25-30 minutes, until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
Notes
Make sure to check the internal temperature to ensure the chicken is fully cooked.
