Instructions
- Prepare the strawberry syrup by heating strawberries and honey in a saucepan. Stir to break down the strawberries, then simmer for a few minutes. Strain if desired and allow to cool.
- In a bowl, sift matcha powder and whisk with hot water until frothy and smooth.
- Fill a tall glass halfway with ice cubes.
- Pour in the cooled strawberry syrup, followed by the matcha mixture.
- Pour milk or a non-dairy alternative over the top.
- Gently mix for a layered effect, or stir immediately. Serve with a straw.
