- 1/4 cup cornstarch
- 1/4 cup flour
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 2 tbsp mayonnaise
- 2 tbsp sweet chili sauce
- 1 tbsp sriracha sauce (adjust to taste)
- 1 tsp rice vinegar
- 1/2 tsp sesame oil
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp ginger powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) or prepare an air fryer.
- In a bowl, mix cornstarch and flour. Coat the salmon pieces in this mixture, dip in beaten eggs, then coat with panko breadcrumbs.
- Fry the salmon bites in hot oil for 3-4 minutes per side, or use an air fryer for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
- In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, rice vinegar, sesame oil, garlic powder, and ginger powder.
- Toss the crispy salmon bites in the Bang Bang sauce until well-coated. Serve immediately with your favorite side.
Notes
For extra heat, add more sriracha or cayenne pepper to the sauce. For a milder version, reduce the sriracha or use honey for sweetness.
