Ingredients

- 2 tbsp butter
- ½ onion, diced
- 10 oz refrigerated biscuit dough, cut into pieces
- 1 lb breakfast sausage
- 5 eggs
- ½ cup whole milk
- 1 tsp oregano
- 1½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1½ cups prepared country gravy
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- In a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the diced onion and cook until browned.
- Add the breakfast sausage to the skillet. Cook until the sausage is browned and no longer pink. Drain any excess grease.
- Place the biscuit pieces in the greased baking dish. Then, add the cooked sausage mixture on top.
- In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, whole milk, and oregano. Pour this mixture over the sausage and biscuits.
- Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top, and cover with the prepared country gravy.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, or until everything is golden brown and set. Serve warm.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Can be frozen before baking for up to 2 months.
